THE LORE OF BFG

The BFG has been forged in tension, between force and control, aggression and precision. Its form follows that balance, with flowing lines that connect into a sharp, deliberate silhouette. The neck, blade-like, is designed to cut through complex passages without resistance. Every detail is built to hold under pressure, to remain stable, responsive, and exact when it matters most. Your BFG will handle the surge of electricity as you blast your best solo.

The BFG platform pairs a dark ash body with a 5‑piece walnut neck with maple stripes, reinforced with carbon fibre rods to increase stability and reduce movement over time. A Richlite fretboard and stainless steel jumbo frets keep the playing surface fast, clean, and durable, while the Hipshot bridge and locking hardware keep the instrument accurate under tension. Electronics are selected to stay articulate and controlled under gain, with the Nazgûl/Sentient set tuned for modern metal clarity.

ABOUT ETHOS

Ethos Guitars was founded in 2024 by guitarist Dean Lamb and designer Greg Nicholls with a clear objective: create modern metal instruments built for precision, consistency, and performance under pressure.

Designed in Canada, Ethos combines refined ergonomics, flowing forms, and aggressive silhouettes into guitars that feel controlled in every detail. Every curve, angle, and component serves a purpose, balancing stability, response, and durability without unnecessary excess.

Built around the real demands of modern players, Ethos guitars are made to remain reliable through touring, recording, and repeated performance. Each instrument passes through Canadian quality control before reaching the musician, ensuring every guitar meets the standard the brand was built around.

The BFG series is the first expression of that approach, available in both 7 and 8 string configurations.
